Accessible leadership
A Mayor Who Shows Up
Accessible leadership means being visible, listening before major decisions and following up with clear answers after residents raise concerns.
01
Visible and Available
Bradley believes the mayor should be present in the community and available for direct, respectful conversation with residents.
02
Clear Answers
Residents should receive useful information in plain language, including what is known, what remains uncertain and when the Village will follow up.
03
Listen Before Major Decisions
Public input should be invited early enough to inform major decisions, not only after the practical direction has already been set.
04
Respectful Work With Council and Staff
The mayor must ask direct questions while working respectfully with council, staff and the public. Accountability and constructive working relationships belong together.
05
Follow Through
When a resident raises a concern, accessible leadership means acknowledging it, directing it to the right place and following up on what happens next.
